StrucLoad Pro

(NEW!)

Structural Loading Calculator based on the National Building Code of Canada (NBCC)

StrucLoad Pro is an easy to use program to estimate the loading on a structure based on the National Building Code of Canada NBCC. The current version of the program covers both NBCC 2020, NBCC 2015. The program includes calculators for calculating snow, seismic, and wind loads. The current version of the program contains eight different calculators to cover these loads. Based on the building location and configuration, the program will calculate the load values and provide detailed loading calculation report. The climatic data associated with the building locations are automatically calculated by the program based on the building location. User can estimate the loading for several cases of each load.

Loading Types

The program contains calculators for each of the following loads:
Snow Load
1- Roof Snow: The specified load on a roof or any other building surface subject to snow and associated rain.
2- Snow Drift: The drifting load of snow on a roof adjacent to a higher roof.
Projection Snow Drift: The snow load for areas adjacent to roof-mounted vertical projections.
• Seismic Load
1- Building: Equivalent static force procedure for buildings.
2- Component: Seismic loads on elements of structures, non-structural components and equipment.
Wind Loads
1- Low Rise Building: For the design of the main structural system of the low rise buildings.
2- Low Rise Building Component: For the design of individual walls and roof cladding in low rise buildings.
3- General-Building: For the design of the main structural system of any building.
4- General-Cladding: For the design of individual walls and wall cladding in any building.
